Ronald Carpenter serves as the President of TMS Group, Inc and leads the company of seasoned former special operations veterans. He works to leverage the team’s networks to enhance mission success and the best possible outcomes for our clients. 

Ronald E. Carpenter, Jr. was born on the Southside of Chicago, Illinois. He joined the U.S. Navy after graduating high school and served honorably for over 32 years with 28 years in Special Operations Special Boat Teams. He is a combat veteran with extensive experience leading Detachments and Troops while carrying out Special Operations missions.  He is one of the first two Warrant Officers in the history of the Special Boat Teams to be promoted to W5, has earned two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Education and Business, and completed a master’s in business.

He has participated in Maritime Special Operations throughout the world to include; the Middle East (Operation Iraqi Freedom), Central and South America (Counter Drug Operations), Asia, Europe, North America, and Africa (Operation Enduring freedom). His Troop Commander Assignments include Riverine Task Unit Five Al Anbar Province Iraq 2007 (awarded the bronze star), and Boat Troop Five Commander Republic of the Philippines 2009 (awarded the Bronze star). He has extensive experience in mission planning, intel fusion, maritime and ground escort movements, and maritime support vessel concept integration.

Mario Martin serves as the Vice President of  TMS Group Business Relations, and forges the partnerships between TMS Group and our clients to ensure their success and the sustainment of our relationships.

Mario is a retired Senior Chief Corpsman and Combat Support Operator with over a decade of proven internationally diversified combat leadership experience. Along with the numerous combat awards Mario has received, he has also earned a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Healthcare Management. His diversity encompasses all aspects of Naval Special Warfare Operations up to the USSOCOM level in management, planning, training, operational, tactical, budgeting, acquisition and supervisory.

Mario is the subject matter expert in the planning and execution of small and large scale medical and casualty evacuations in austere environments. During his career as a combat medic, he provided the best trauma and medical long care for combat casualties during the multiple deployments in his career. Growing up in Peru and Argentina and later in life operating in South and Central America, Mario’s experience paired with his Spanish-speaking skills, lend him to be our expert in South and Central American countries.
